PD: 03/16/2021 after 5 years of waiting outside the U.S. VISA bulletin became current on April consular appointment May22nd Smooth interview with the officer, at the end he said: everything looks good you will receive an email in a week. Status was ready, then administrative processing for a day and then ISSUED I got my package today. so happy don’t loose the faith and stay patient. thanks for the support

Hello when I submitted my Vawa my ex-spouse was a green card holder, after I received the Vawa approval it says: “Class: IB1 Category:SLF-PET SPOUSE OF USC” does that mean that he’s now a Citizen, am I going to be place on the immediate relative? thanks

Visa reclassification

My PD is Dec 21, 2015, and my case migrated to ELIS on May 20, 2024. In Sep 2024, I sent a letter ( with my divorce decree ) to USCIS requesting to reclassify my case from F3 to F1. I hadn't received any notices or updates from them until they sent me a Request for Initial Evidence on Apr 24, 2025. The RFIE said that I need to resubmit my I-130 because the old one is obsolete. I completed my I-130 and sent them that ( with my current marital status which is unmarried ) and they confirmed they received it and started working on my case on May 19. Does anyone know how long it would take? I'm so frustrated since my case has been pending for nearly a decade. Update: They approved my case on June 17, 2025 #f3 #f1

Good morning family . Please I need yall help. So I recently went to the SSA office April 25 to get my social since it didn’t come together with the EAD card and they told me my ead card needs to be verified by DHS so they will send me my card once it’s verified and on the paper they gave it was stated 4 weeks. So I went in two weeeks time to check on it but still nothing yet . So I waited for another 3 weeks just for me to go back and they are telling me nothing is in the system and I have to reapply again . OmG I was so sad and still my card hasn’t been verified by dhs after a long wait now I don’t have a job and I have to apply for FAFSA with my Prima ficia which will be expiring in a month . So I did my research on how to see if the application has been sent to DHS and reviewed yet , and I found out they sent it back to SSA office so now I will go to the SSA office Monday . Please has this happened to anyone here . please yall should help me out please
