Using Advance Parole to travel
Hello everyone,
I’d like to share my travel experience using my Advanced Parole. I was back in my home country for six weeks, and I returned to the U.S. via IAH Airport (Houston) on June 4th. Upon arrival, I presented my passport and I-131 document to the officer. They asked me two questions: where I had gone and what I had done while I was there.
After that, I was taken to a secondary inspection room where there were more than ten people waiting. I waited for about 15 minutes, and then they returned my documents and allowed me to leave.
So, if you're considering traveling, don't worry! As long as you haven't committed any crimes, you should be fine.

I talk to emma and she said,
The case is processing with the national benefits center. The case was last reviewed by the office on 05/21/2025. The office is not requesting anything from you at this time. The interview waiver determination has not yet been made, nor has an interview been
scheduled. The next step for the case is to be transferred to a field office. We don't have estimated wait time for when the transfer will be completed.
EAD RENEWAL
Greetings Good People,
My work authorization expires soon right around the same time I filed my i130 and i485 back in June 2023, of which both have not yet been approved 😒.
I recently discovered my EAD expires in August of which I filled out the i765 form category c9. Unfortunately I was denied, reasons being:
- I used an outdated form( I did download the form off of the USCIS site though!)
- Signed the wrong page! ( I used ChatGPT for assistant n it mentioned not to leave any blank to put N/A instead, i did on the preparers part, I’m guessing that’s what they meant)
- And fees, I was informed we do not pay if renewing under c9 category.
Asking if anyone has gone through the process recently and if you would please help me identify which form is most updated and do i pay n how much? And if you happen to have any other advice on the matter I am open.
Thank You All!

Entrevista USCIS
Hola! Estoy asustada

Peaks and valleys
After an extremely long wait I finally have my GC in hand. This was not easy task, it took a lot of patience and a lots of waiting but all the sleepless nights, tears and frustrations have finally led to this moment of relief.
To everyone still waiting I know it’s frustrating but your approval will come. Remember to be your biggest advocate. Makes the calls, get all your documents together and be ready for your interview.
