Filed I-485 Without I-693 – What Happens Next?
Hello,
I applied for Adjustment of Status (Form I-485) two months ago, but I didn’t know that Form I-693 (Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record) should be submitted along with it.
What should I do now to make sure USCIS does not reject my I-485? Since it’s expensive to file, I want to be sure I don’t risk losing the application.

Thank you all for the support, I went to my interview on Tuesday. My experience was great, interview lasted 5 minutes, only question I was asked were if I was divorced and did I bring my children birth certificate. After the officer told me I was approved and I should receive my card in about 2 weeks. Thank you God, my advice to you all is to have faith your time is coming also!!
I130/I485 AOS post interview 136 days ????
I applied on october 2023 and had my interview in april 2025 it’s been 136 days since my i130/i485 AOS interview and I haven’t heard anything what do I do ? I’ve sent a case inquiry at 120 days still nothing! Do I contact congressman I’m goin crazy. Is anyone else going through the same thing ? Interview went good married with 2 kids one of the kids was 2 weeks old at the interview and both kids was with us interview was only 10-15min didn’t even ask us any marriage questions. Chicago
joint i-751 and n400 interview in Seattle
Had my interview yesterday, September 2. very friendly officer. only asked my husband 2 questions. He took a quick glance at the paperwork I brought. He approved the I-751 on the spot. He asked me the 6 questions for the N400 and a few yes or no questions from the application. it was around 4pm so he said he'll review it the next day. Hoping to get a date for the oath ceremony soon. I will be traveling in December.
