i received my interview schedule for Aug 12. i filed under a 3-year rule. filed in January 2025. i was expecting to have the interview in May but didnt happen. we booked an international flight for 1 month and will be out of the country from july 26 to aug 26. how does re scheduling work? how do i reschedule? when is the ideal time to reschedule? im worried that if i reschedule now, i will get rescheduled 2 weeks after when i am atill away. can someone ahare their experience here pleaae? #n400 #losangeles #lafo #naturalization #citizenship #reschedule #re-schedule #january2025filer

8 years of being in this great country, through vawa I finally got my green card!! glory be to God!!!!

hmm if I write my story I’d start crying again, i130 denied due to issues with usc husband, I overcame an abusive husband, overcame Nigerian divorce issues and finally I got my green card being produce! it feels surreal and unbelievable I don’t even know how I feel right now!! one thing I would say is, don’t depend I your lawyer only! fight for your case too! I went to a second interview by myself because the lawyer wanted to reschedule. I submitted unsolicited evidence, and respond to rfe myself, it was a tough process but God saw me through.

Might be a silly question. any experience with Helena FO?

I Received my Birth Certificate RFE at Oct 22 2024 responded @ dec 19 2024 but no update after is that normal ?

hello guys, I have submitted my form I-485 Oct 11 2024 and got the rfe at Oct 23 2024 for Birth certificate. I responded back on December 9 2024 And got the notice saying Rfe received at December 19 2024. My PD is 01/21/2023 btw. Also I did receive my Biometric and given that just to let you guys know. since then I haven’t got any update is it normal ?
