RELIGIOUS WORKERS FACE RESTRICTIONS
Attention R-1 visa holders: If you are still on your first R-1 visa, that's great news. However, if you are on your second R-1 visa and it's nearing its end, it's important to start planning your next steps if you intend to remain in the United States. This is because the cut-off date for filing an Adjustment of Status (AOS), as recently published in the MAY 2023 Visa Bulletin is October 1st, 2018, and R-1 visa holders do not have a grace period. Once your visa expires, you are expected to leave the country unless you file for an AOS (or jump on another visa). However, due to potential delays in the visa bulletin (unless we experience some dramatic progression, of which I am fervently praying), you may run out of status while waiting to file an AOS. I don't mean to cause alarm, but it's essential to be aware of this reality. I strongly recommend seeking the advice of an attorney for further guidance.
I-824 Query
I received I-130 approval for my wife, however I have to now fill out I-824 in order to request that USCIS send the petition to the U.S. Department of State National Visa Center (NVC). Since, I did not indicate on the petition whether the beneficiary intends to apply for an immigrant visa abroad
at a U.S. Embassy or a U.S. Consulate or will apply for adjustment of status in the United States while filling I-130. I need assistance with what reason should I be selecting when submitting I-824?
wishing everybody the best
I was approved on the 1st of this month, card was produced on the 6th and mailed on the 7th and it was delivered to me on the 10th. it’s bn a stressful but incredible journey and it’s on this note I draw the curtain on this app my friends. I wish everyone the absolute best. I will be answering questions if anyone has any. thanks

Transfer I-485 from Court to USCIS
Hi everyone,
I am in removal proceedings and my individual hearing is about 3 weeks away. The attorney I consulted with says that the court won’t do anything until my I-130 is approved or denied by USCIS.
I would like to transfer my I-485 from the court’s jurisdiction to uscis so that after my cancelation of removal, USCIS can adjudicate my I-145 soon after approving my I-130. Does anyone know where to find the form to request that transfer? do I just call the court? how does this work?! Thank you all for your kind support :) #removalproceedings

EAD alone or combo card
I was wondering if most people are getting combo cards or EAD/AP separately. I just saw that my 765 status changed to “card is being produced”‘but 131 is still showing “case received”. not sure if I will be getting combo or just the work permit. I know that USCIS started to issue them separately last year in an effort to “speed up”’the process but I still saw people posting they got combo. I am curious to see what the trend is now- thanks for any insights!
