R-1 visa holders hear me out, if you are still on your first R-1 visa, good. If you are on your second R-1 visa, and you nearing its end, start planning how to remain in status (if you choose to remain in America). I say this because the cut-off date for filing AOS is 1st 0CT 2018. R-1s have no grace period. You are expected to depart the country once it ends. Except something dramatic happens with the visa bulletin, you could run out of status while waiting to file an AOS. I do not want to spread panic. I am just sharing the reality. Please, speak with an attorney for more insight.

My submission date is Jan 19th 2023.. "Name was Updated" 7 days back. Nothing after that. Still waiting.
