Did your i485 location api change to your local field office on 07/16?
It seems many people reported that Location API for their I485 began showing their local field office along with forms timestamp updated on 07/16.
I’m trying to gauge if this was a system update or actual transfer for most people.

RFE medical exams had received by USCIS
“On July 18, 2025, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC2390xxxx. USCIS has begun working on your case again. We will send you a decision or notify you if we need something from you.”
How long should I expect to get the new update? what should it be?

Clarification about the seemingly false case update notification
Hi Lawfully users,
We want to address the recent confusion around case status notifications. Earlier today, USCIS appears to have made a bulk update that changed many case statuses to a message indicating that the case is still being processed, even though the update date remained the same.
Specifically, it looks like USCIS updated the title of one of its existing status messages, changing “Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS” to “Case Is Still Being Processed By USCIS.”
While the meaning is largely the same, this change in wording is treated as a new message by our system, which is why you may have received a new notification even if there was no real update to your case.
To clarify, Lawfully displays case updates exactly as we receive them from USCIS, including both the message and the date.
There’s no action needed on your part at this time. We’ll continue to monitor this behavior and share any important updates with you.

Case is Actively Being Review to Case is still being processed.
I looked this morning and I found out that the case info on my I-485 & I-765 changed from case is actively being reviewed from June 23rd to case is being processed and nothing is needed from me at this time as of this morning. Can anyone please let me know if they’ve had similar experience with this, and what it means? Thanks.
