Decision after interviewed
I completed the interview on 12/2021. After that, on 2/2022, USCIS visited my husband and me at home in the morning(they asked about my husbands' job, pictures of us, and how we communicated with each other and took a photo). But after didn't hear anything back. I asked and called them many times, and they said my case needs to review USCIS still doing back office work on my case, and the last time they worked on my case was 3/27/2023.

TRAVEL ALONE ?
hello everyone
I received my gc 3 weeks ago from marriage. now I need go to my country and see my doctors asap. husband can’t come with me and his family don’t want me because I’m not obeying them. so I have health conditions I need to go for a 1-2 week but his family definition of evil. my question is can they complain me to government like ( their marriage was fake don’t take her in ) like that ? is that possible for them to do something behind me and put me in a hard position ? even if I’m in the airport border I can proof my marriage 100000 times is real. but they are kinda scary many times tried us to broke up. is it safe for me to leave country with my CONDITIONAL GREEN CARD BY MYSELF ?

"We are waiting for the results of the required security checks on your case before we can continue our review. All applicants for a U.S. immigration benefit are subject to criminal and national security background checks to ensure they are eligible for that benefit.
USCIS performs checks on each applicant, regardless of ethnicity, national origin, or religion.
For most applicants, the process quickly determines if there are criminal or security-related issues that may affect eligibility for immigration benefits. Most cases proceed without an issue. However, due to both the volume of security checks USCIS conducts, and the need to ensure that each applicant is thoroughly screened, some delays on individual applications are inevitable.
If you have not received notice of further action within 90 days of this response, please submit a request to the USCIS Contact Center for additional assistance."
is there anyone in the same boat? 🙄
work permit asylum/ vawa
I got two pending cases, assylum and vawa. I got my work permit through asylum since I did it first. I want to cancel my asylum because I can’t apply for a renewal of my passport from my home country with a pending asylum case . My question is case will I loose my ability to work with my work permit if I cancel the assylum case since the work permit was issued based on it?

finally approved after 20+ years in US
F1 here since 1999. Haven’t left the country since 2004 when my visa expired. Did something wrong (felony conviction) when I was young around 2005. Met my hubby 2018. Got married 2020. Apply my green card with my attorney in 2021 I-601 along with I-485. Got NOID regarding my I601 and my attorney fight for me the long way… and today my GC is finally approved!
Don’t give up guys! There’s always miracle. Find a good attorney if you really need one! In my case my attorney really helped me a lot!
