update after a long time ? means ?
I applied for EB-3 unskilled I-140, I-485 , I-765 , and I-131 concurrently in 15 December 2022 .
then I did biometrics in 09 January 2023 and then on I-131 , it is updated to show that fingerprint was taken in 10 January 2023.
after waiting for 3 months , then I made an expedited request. then it was denied after one week.
Now , my case on I-765 was updated to show that fingerprint was applied .
what does this update mean ?

question about RFE, please help.
during the pandemic my parents came from oversea to American to visit my family and my new born daughter. Due to the pandemic and shutdown I filled I539 extension for both of my parents’s visa status on last September. later on I decided apply green card for them so they can stay with my family spend mor time with my daughter and without worry about the visa issue so I filled application for both of my parents on December last year . But this week I received a RFE regarding the visa extension I have no idea what is this about. have any one received this notice before?

After 1 week of case processing time, it’s saying that “Your case is taking longer than expected to process. You do not need to take any action at this time.”
Does anyone know what this means and what I should do? Will my case be approved soon or what?

I am Indian. been in the US for 13 years. don’t have a green card. I have paid enough taxes to be eligible for social security benefits(40 credits)
would I be eligible for retirement payments if I never got a US green card and just moved to India now ?

I got a notice on Lawfully app that “Update on your case status from USCIS”, but nothing changed when I checked the case status on the app and even on the USCIs account. I tried to refesh the page so many time but still the same 🥺
Is it just a glitch? Anybody got the same?

hello,
Given the possibility of EB1 for China and India will continue to retrogress next month, what can I do to trigger USCIS to process my case?
I'm Chinese. My 485 is based on EB1 and my priority date is 01/26/2022, porting from eb2-niw. This is still current based on final action date (02/01/2022) on the visa bulletin. I had a 485 interview in early April at Los Angeles Field Office, and the interview went okay. Now my case got updates on 04/27/2023:
"case remains pending. We are temporarily pausing work on your application because an immigrant visa number is not immediately available to you.
Once an immigrant visa number becomes immediately available to you, we will resume processing of your application"
I mean wtf. How can I beat the damn system?! #powerless
