You will get your EAD within few weeks. i got my EAD when fingerprint was applied on i765.

@shiblee mir I filed concurrent I-765, I-131, and I-485 in EB-1A category @ Texas without the medicals on August 2022. My I-765 was applied with fingerprints 9 days back after 8.5 months. my I-140 was approved on 01 September 2022.

@Cool Dude May I know when your fingerprints were applied to your I-765 ? Was it immediately after filing your I-765 and the biometric they applied or it took a few months ? After how many weeks of fingerprints applied, you received your EAD ?

@S SS fingerprint applied after 2 months of biometrics. Received EAD after a month.

Did my biometrics on feb 6 2023. after waiting for so many month now my both I-131 and I-176 says case was updated to show finger were taken on may 7 2023 so I want to know about what is expedite request and am I eligible for my case to do that request or not and how can I make that request because I m also at opt status want my ead asap.

i did but it was rejected. you can go to “ask emma “ and then tell then u want to expedite your case . and tell the reason . rhey will do it

@shiblee mir TSC is frustratingly slow. it’s more than 9 months for me and even an EAD has not yet been approved. often I see this message in lawfully app - “…Cases behind you moved ahead of you”

@S SS Yes. I don’t know what is wrong with Texas service center. is curse if your application is in TSC. I always hear bad things about TSC. it is in red state which may be the reason

@S SS people who had applied 1.5 months after me are getting EAD card. I am waiting for 6 months. only good news is that 14 days ago , they have updated to show fibger print was taken but I gave finger prints on 09 January 2023

@shiblee mir Yes that fingerprints update is like part/step of the work flow. All our applications will eventually be applied with fingerprints - 1-485, I-131 and I-765 all applications. so I guess next step is either transfer if not yet done, or RFE or approval.

@S SS is it true that if finger prints are updated on the case, it means that they have started working on out case ? and it may take 3/4 weeks something like that ?

@shiblee mir that’s the general observation that I have but I am not sure with TSC. we can only hope.

@S SS Texas service center is simply sleeping. I just brought premium here and found that I am still ranked 65th . three months ago I was 65th . so no one has got ead card who are registered in Texas service center

@shiblee mir . There should have been an option to voluntarily transfer our case from one service center to another but unfortunately there is no such flexibility.

@Jay Tran Cool congrats! At least some positive development. But it’s interesting that you got your AP before your EAD. Generally EAD gets approved first is what I have observed. Did you get a combo card or something?

@S SS yes, as I know most people get EAD approval first, but my case i got AP approval first. I surprised about that. now i'm still waiting EAD

I saw in the app a few days back, it seems a lot of folks got their AP approved.

@S SS no bro. for me it has been six months(eb-3 unskilled). I don’t see anny movement in Texas service center. TSC is almost dead. Nebraska is active. we have to wait until tsc wakes up. i am also fed up with this

@shiblee mir Oh. I recently saw a few posts . Some lucky folks are getting GC approved within 3.5 months who filed @ TSC. I think it’s very random.

@shiblee mir I saw a few EAD approvals today @ TSC. Most of them are expedite requests what I observe. Twice my expedite requests has been denied before.

@S SS 99% cases are denied . TSC will wake up before the fiscal year ends in October. so , we can hope that we will get it before October.

@shiblee mir Only positive thing that I observed is TSC’s I-485 processing times seems like has improved from 50 months in April 2023 to 35.5 months right now.

6 weeks after my finger print was applied on my case I-765 but no EAD card yet. most pelple get EAD card once their finger print is applied. we are expecting a lot of bad luck here

@shiblee mir My spouse’s EAD was approved today. Her AP got updated to “Name Was Updated”. I am the primary applicant but my EAD/AP no change till now.

@eb3 bdv oh long back I applied at Texas. Filed 15th August 2022. Its 10.5 months.

@S SS i think you will get EAD card as per conventional wisdom says. spouse and main applicant always gets EAD card within one week difference. Although all conventional wisdoms have been falae for our cases 😇

@shiblee mir Thanks 🙏 My spouse’s AP was also approved along with the EAD just a day after the EAD approval. My AP status still shows “fingerprints were applied”, only EAD status shows approved for me.

@shiblee mir wow amazing… congrats…. Now you should get your GC approved. I heard after the EAD/AP approval, the GC arrives in mail after a month or so or if medical was not submitted initially, RFE for medical is mailed.

@S SS thanks man. but my category is EB-03 so i will not get my GC until retrogression is lifted. but this thread has been a home when I felt lonely for waiting for EAD !!! i will miss it here . let keep updating each other until we get GC 💜

@eb3 bdv I read from different community postings, sometimes if they are convinced with your reason for expedited request, then they approve without any proof. But in my opinion it is better to send proofs.

hey guys it has been 7 days until I get the notification that my card was sent to me . but I did not get my card delivered. will the status of my I-765 go from “card was mailed to me “ to “card was delivered “ ???? or the status will remain the same ?
