April 2022 filers (I-130) Spouse Visa
Hello there,
US Citizen applied for wife in Bahrain.
i130 filled online (IOE) California service center.
02 April 2022 - Receipt Date /PD : NOA1.
05 May 2023 - First Active Review
10 May 2023 - Second Active Review
11 May 2023 - we Got APPROVED
We were so happy until we saw the approval notice,
in our i130 we mistakenly filled both adjustment of status and consular processing, so now we have to file another form i-824 and pay another fee so the USCIS can send it to NVC :(
has anyone gone through this before 😭

Regarding lawfully app glitch: Its been 380 days of my f2a visa and have not heard anything from USCIS till date. My center is Nebreska.
This morning when I first open the app on the status bar it went full as I was so happy but after refreshing it the bar went back to same unmoved status. This is very sad 😞 why they playing with this troubled soul 🥹

I don’t know where went wrong!!!
I interviewed at Queens field office a year ago. the interviewer kinda implied that she will approve us and I asked her how long I am supposed to get the green card she said a month. then a year passed. my I485 and I130 are still “ interview scheduled “. I also submitted case inquiries twice. same reply saying that they are busy and my case is still within reasonable processing time. this is normal? I doubt that. does anyone have a clue why?

interviewed a year ago still no green card

VAWA I-360 and I-485
Please, What is the difference between “Request for Initial Evidence “ and “Request for Evidence”? I submitted my I-360 and I-485 concurrently, and the I-360 was approved in March 2023. A few hours ago, I received a status update that a “Request for Initial Evidence” was sent for the form I-485. Please, what could that be? I'm curious!
I-485 Form for adjustment lf staus those who worked on behalf of the US in Afghanistan.
We came through evacuation in Sept 2021. Based on approved form I-360 I filed I-485 forms to obtain green cards, but it has been 16 months still showing being reviewed. Does anyone know how much time will it take for these kind of cases?

Do we have to work for the sponser more than 1 yr? For example: can we work for sponser for 1 yr at South Carolina ( McDonalds) and move to Oklahoma and continue to work at Mcdonalds until we get Green card? has anyone gone by this? has anyone left their job after 1 yr without getting GC?
