I don’t know where went wrong!!!
I interviewed at Queens field office a year ago. the interviewer kinda implied that she will approve us and I asked her how long I am supposed to get the green card she said a month. then a year passed. my I485 and I130 are still “ interview scheduled “. I also submitted case inquiries twice. same reply saying that they are busy and my case is still within reasonable processing time. this is normal? I doubt that. does anyone have a clue why?

I’m in the same boat. the officer said “will recommend for an approval, but need some time”, and nothing. My status was at “Interview was scheduled”, and 20 days ago it changed to “Actively reviewing”, but guess what - nothing happened.. tomorrow is exactly a year since my interview

I was told that he will review evidence provided and if they need anything to wait for a rfe letter at the interview. 12 hours later my case was approved. Really just depends on the officer. Cincinnati FO.

I contacted the congresswoman in my area and hope she can get sth back. finger crossed!
