My Projection; What is your thought
This is my analysis and View:-
Globally, IV applicants waiting for interview dates by April 30th, 2023 is 396,877 (source : https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/visas-backlog.html )
DQed IV applicants scheduled for May, 2023 interview equals 41,904
Eligible Number after May interview appointments equals 354,973
Going by this and assuming at least 41,904 applicants monthly - it means it will take 354973 divided by 41, 904 to know the number of months required to clear even the last DQed after May appointments schedule which is circa 8.5 months if you do the maths
Meaning that even the last person DQed in 30th April’23 will be scheduled for interviewed after 8.5 months (and that is Jan’2024)
So those DQed Jan 2023 should expect interview schedule by September, 2023 going by this global average.
Nigeria case seem to match this average because In Jan 2023 (this year) they were handling Sept/Oct 2021 and by this April, they were already dealing with April as well. Meaning that they covered some 6 months in less than 4 months. Which equals those DQed this April will be scheduled in about 8 months instead of 12 months.
Countries with less backlogs may happen earlier though. #Lagos
