My i360 Journey
it was not any easy journey. I was married to a us citizen, few months after she filed for my family base adjustment of status, she became hostile, voilent and abusive, both physically and emotionally towards me. I was subjected to her tortured because of the fear she instilled in me. According to her words “ I can call the immigration anytime and get them send you back to your shit hole country”🤦‍♂️I was so scared and confused either to withdraw my case from uscis and risk deportation. The day of our first interview she didn’t show up she bluntly refused to attended the interview. I went with my Anttoney and we explained to the officer why my spouse didn’t come with me . on getting home that day my wife was so vex and was prepared for a fight. she hit me several, ripped my clothes and before she could reach out for a knife in our kitchen, I flew for my life and called 911 immediately. before the police gets to our apartments she as already ran out of the house.. the officer take down my statement and pictures. And advice me to Seak for safety, she gave me the hotline number to call for shelter because I was afraid to pass the night at my place. The police officer was the one who eventually open my understanding that I could get my paper without being subjected to the cruelty of my spouse through vawa. I reach out to my lawyer and we file for vawa. few weeks later my initial i131 got denied. This is just a summary of what I went through, words are not enough to express what I’ve been through in the hands of my ex violent spouse. But surely it all end in praise at last.. God came through 💯.. yours will surely end In praise. hang on tight fam! we all will surly win this race🫶
