My Card Is Being Produced
We approved your Form OS155A, Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration, Receipt Number IOE0******32. On May 27, 2023, we ordered the production of your new card. We will mail your card to the address you provided.
How long can the production and delivery of the Green Card take, taking into account that almost a week has already been completed since it is being produced?

I spoke to live agent today and I was told that combo card has been produced on May 31st, 2023 and case has been closed however Lawfully or case tracker has no update yet. how accurate was that for those who went through same situation? also how long it takes from the day combo card is produced to I-485 and I-130 be completed as well.
Also I-130 for peritioner shows that the case is taking longer than expected however live agent said it takes 33 months and my petitioner has only been waiting for 10 months.
A long and stressful journey - FINALLY!
I hope this gives some of you hope. I know that this is stressful and it isn't fun when you see people getting approved who applied long after you. Try to hang in there! 817 days later...my GC is finally approved.
I know several folks will have questions so I'll try to provide additional details here. I have a PhD in Environmental Science and currently work as a state government scientist. I'm from Canada and came to the USA as a J-1 scholar in 2016 (postdoc) and then as a TN visa holder in 2019. When I applied under the NIW, I had about 13 articles published in the peer reviewed literature with >1100 citations. No dependents.
Unfortunately, it took over 500 days to approve my I-140, but no RFE. My case was then transferred to the Imperial FO on October 13, 2022. Found this out from Emma. I received two RFEs...the first (early Feb 2023) to prove my birth certificate was real and show my passport. The second was in late Feb 2023 to prove I wasn't subject to the J-1 home residency requirement. Had to get an advisory opinion from the State Dept. even though I knew I wasn't subject. This took about 4-6 weeks. Frustrating. My GC was approved ~12 days later once the Imperial FO received my response to RFE on May 19/23. My lawyer was Dunn Law in Illinois (I recommend them).
I'm happy this is now somewhat behind me. This is such a stressful process and one that you almost want to quit since, for me, I haven't been home for awhile. My only advice: don't sign onto this app on a daily basis and drive yourself crazy with stress and anxiety! It isn't worth it and everyone's experience can be different. Count yourself fortunate if you received a quick approval.

N-400 Expedited Request. approved or not?
I recently called USCIS to Expedite my N-400 for a humanitarian reason. USCIS called me the next day and asked me more questions about the request and send this email shortly after the call. Does it mean the expedited request was approved or not?

EAD approved after expedite
Case hasn't been updated yet, but there was a standalone approval notice added to the Documents tab of my I-765 application.
I submitted an expedite request and responded to their request for supporting evidence on May 17th. My previous authorization (F1 based) expired on the 28th so I mentioned that in my cover letter as well as explaining that my spouse would become the sole income earner after that date. I also included a letter from my employer explaining my role and that I would be difficult to replace. And I included my current monthly bills.
NBC, no idea which field office since all notices have been from main NBC address so far.
Sharing in case it helps anyone in a similar situation. Every case is different but it doesn't hurt to try. Wishing everyone luck on their own cases.
