I-130 Approval!
I applied in May of 2022. it initially went to Texas service center and then about 2 weeks ago it was transferred to Nebraska and was approved there. My processing time had changed so many times and changed to your case is taking longer than expected so it was never really accurate. I was really losing hope, but hang in there everyone!!

Has there been any approvals from July 2022. This is taking so long, it’s frustrating and I miss my fiancé. Now Nigeria is unsafe to travel to so I won’t see him again until things calm down or we get approval.

Hello
What are the cons of having an ITIN number as undocumented and years later getting married? I’m working right now with the itin and then USCIS ask for my taxes aren’t they going to see that I worked without having authorization.
I know that having a ITIN number does not allow me to work.

This process was really long and hard, but we’re finally here.
I want to share my time line so it could be useful for others that are still waiting.
Something important to mention that doesn’t appear in the timeline is that we originally applied for an EB2-NIW in March 2021, and then apply for the EB1B in May 2022. The NIW was approved on Aug 2022.
The whole process took around 2 years and 3 months.
We had to pay 3 times for our Medicals, since the 1st ones expired, the 2nd ones (in answer to the RFE) got lost, and the 3er ones we gave them directly to an USCIS officer. Which we got an appointment with thanks to our Congressman, if it wasn’t for them we’ll be still waiting.

STEM EAD delay
Hello!
My opt ead is expiring this month and I have applied for STEM opt almost 2 months back and have no updates yet. I know the process is slow for everyone. I have to go to India next month. What if I have no updates till then? Can i enter with a expired EAD and the confirmation letter from USCIS that I got after I applied for STEM ead???

when i login to myuscis accont and look at processing timeline for my I130, it doesn’t show number of months any more (used tk say 5 months) and instad it shows now:
your case is taking longer than expected to process, you do not need to take any action at this time.
is this normal? shall I expect something happening soon or this is a glitch in the system?!
