ITIN number
Hello
What are the cons of having an ITIN number as undocumented and years later getting married? I’m working right now with the itin and then USCIS ask for my taxes aren’t they going to see that I worked without having authorization.
I know that having a ITIN number does not allow me to work.

they will forgive the working but if you lie then that’s worse,

I was using an itin for years filled taxes every year with it and now married and applied for green card I went to my interview in April they didn’t even ask me about taxes or anything all they was if I worked illegally I said yes because it’s forgiven once you’re married to a citizen
