500 days of silence for I-130. Is there anything I can do?
A little bit of background:
I was in removal proceedings. Got married. Filed I-130 (standalone) at the end of December, 2021. Waited for a year for any actions to be taken on I-130 form - radio silence. Terminated removal proceedings on March 2023. Filed I-485 at the beginning of May. Now it being considered as concurrent filing (I-130 + I-485). Talked to Emma chat agent and have been told that both cases are at NBC (not sure what timeline for NBC is - I guess nobody does). Since I-130 has been pending for almost 18 months, I submitted service request (heard it’s quite useless though). Not sure if there anything else I can do to speed up the process…Please drop a comment if you have similar dates/experience. Receipt: IOE914.

what are you actively reviewing about???
got the first ‘actively reviewed’ right after my bio, fast forward the second AR last month the day we had the interview, yesterday the third AR. Still no approval in the document tab. what are you reviewing for???? I have a very straight forward case, F1 in the us over 5 yrs, filed in status, both of us never married before, age difference 2 yrs. didn’t submit a lot of evidence during the interview but we brought a box and a tote bag of evidence but the USCIS officer asked nothing from my evidence except for my birth certificate. UGH what are you reviewing for????

12 Months and 14 days for the I-30 to be approved .. Initially it was supposed to be 6 months, but it was chasing the processing time !
Few days ago I was frustrated and angry, but once your turn comes around, you’ll forget about the long wait you had .. I was checking my account every single day for months especially when I get closer to the timeline they have on the website. However, once I decided to not check my account for few days, just to break the routine, I found the approval notice sitting in my document section!!
my only suggestion to everyone who is waiting: Don’t worry, if you have submitted all needed documents and everything they need, then just relax and give it its time .. you’ll be approved soon. DO NOT feel bad if you see someone applied after you and they got approved first, every case is unique and at some point you’ll be approved before someone else who’s applied before you!

After submitting all the necessary documents for the I-130 (parent filing for a unmarried child under 21) almost 10 months ago I’m still waiting for a interview.Please keep in mind that my father started this process in 2019(I was 20) and its 2023 (now I’m 24). is it normal to wait this long for interview date especially since my dad is US citizen?
