(c09) initial EAD is taking too long :(
Sorry, I know some people are waiting longer than me.
In GA, they only provide one-time 120 days extension for DL. After that, no further renewal until I got EAD. Does anybody experience this and get a DL ?
I’m about not to drive in 6 to 7 months. I’m living in a small town and it’s quite far from necessities.
Hope DDS updated their rules or USCIS improved the process.

Spouse I-485 interview got scheduled
Hi Guys, I received email last week that my spouse I-485 interview got scheduled. They mailed her copy yesterday. I chatted with live agent yesterday to find out where they are standing on my interview. To my surprise they scheduled both our interviews back to back on the same day. I am still waiting for my interview mail.
I want to know what are the areas of questions I will be expecting and if anyone can share their experiences. Appreciate it.

can I submit another application?
hi everyone, I sent out my Ead renewal application which was delivered and signed on June 5, 2023 at Vermont centre. it’s been three weeks now without a receipt notice. my current Ead is nearing its expiration and my job ha been sending reminders or else face termination and I’m so stressed and confused at this point. so I want to know if it’s possible to refile another renewal application?
update: just chatted with a live agent through Emma and I was told to write to Vermont Centre 😭😭😭😭😭
I was only trying to avoid the $500 charge by my lawyer and she won’t inquire on my behalf.

I pray for some kind of relief soon for everyone involved in this process.

ADVANCE PAROLE ON OVERSTAYED VISA
Hello my friends in journey,
I’m here to relate my story and give some of you peace of mind during this time in need and waiting. Let me start off by saying you CAN Travel on Advance Parole even if you previously over stayed your visa.
Our case has been with USCIS since 6/6/22, we have gotten work permit only back in December 2022, since then none of our other concurrent application have had any updates. So with that being said we decided to apply of an emergency advance parole. I call USCIS number asked for info pass and got to an agent, this was on 6/9/23 Friday. it took 72 business hours to get a call frok an agent from our local office which then gave us an appointment . we went to the appointment and where granted a 2 month Advanced Parole Document. Let me tell you emotions where flying all over the place, once we had I512L in our hand now came the debate of weather we used it or not. after reading many many stories we decided to give it a shot and risk it being that my wife hadn’t seen her family in over 6 years. WE TRAVEL……
We came back last night 6/27 landed went through customs, agent was super courteous, once he processed everything took us to secondary inspection to finished process. we sat at secondary for 5-6 minutes, an officer then called my wife name, no questions asked simply said your good to go your passport has been stamped . That officer was so nice hr even offered to make a copy of the advanced parole document they keep so we could have record of it as well.
Now from our experience ADVANCE PAROLE works, Thanks to the Lord our process went smoothly, it also created a chian of events while we where out of the country our case started moving so now we have sent RFE, and waiting .Please ask if you need more info….
