can I submit another application?
hi everyone, I sent out my Ead renewal application which was delivered and signed on June 5, 2023 at Vermont centre. it’s been three weeks now without a receipt notice. my current Ead is nearing its expiration and my job ha been sending reminders or else face termination and I’m so stressed and confused at this point. so I want to know if it’s possible to refile another renewal application?
update: just chatted with a live agent through Emma and I was told to write to Vermont Centre 😭😭😭😭😭
I was only trying to avoid the $500 charge by my lawyer and she won’t inquire on my behalf.

can you continue with your current employment by submitting the extension receipt notice even after EAD expiration

Hello @Tee T I’m in the same situation as you. My Attorney submitted my EAD renewal application since 30th of May 2023 and I’m still waiting for the receipt notice. Getting a reminder of possible termination by my employer is draining and frustrating. USCIS should do better. Many people are going through the same situation. Everything will be alright at the end for sure!

@Baiano Lash this is an update. I finally got my receipt on July 1st, yes first day in July. I want to believe my persistence chats and inquiries from “Emma” and a live agent on Uscis website adviced that I write a letter to Vermont Centre as he couldn’t answer or respond to any questions on my case, I was about to do that when I got the receipts in my mailbox,, so I guess that triggered them to send it. I’ll advise to explore that, and I also sent an email to the Uscis lockbox office which they replied few days after receiving the receipt notice. please do not sit and wait.
