Have anyone here applied for B2 visa for your family when your own 485 is still pending?
Hi all -
I was applying B2 visa for my mother to visit. In her DS-160 questions there is a question asking about my current visa status with three options(Citizenship/Greencard/ None immigration) I put ‘None-immigration’ there since my greencard is still pending. But my mother’s B2 interview is scheduled in October, yet my greencard got approved before her interview. Do I need to submit a new DS-160 to change this info for her interview?

I’ve been applied for i130, i485 (marriage based) and i765 on march 24 2023
My status for each currently is :
I130 : March 24, 2023 Case Was Received And A Receipt Notice Was Sent
I485 : April 25, 2023 Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS
I765 : June 21, 2023 Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office
So i got may EAC, went to the social security office and got my SSN card as well
What’s the next steps and how long average it will take?
I uploaded tons of evidence (didn’t requested for) to the i485 case in hope it will speed the process
I haven’t got request for i693 yet and I’m wondering what’s next and how long these days you think it will waive/send interview request for my green card?

Hello Friends, 2nd Actively Reviewed I-485 & 1st Actively Reviewed I-130
I got my Combo card on June-29 and got case status changed second time I-485 & first time in I-130 actively reviewed on case.

Update : I checked my wifes Document tab and found Approval Notice 🎉🎊 Now I don’t know when will be my I-485 ??
Update 2 : I Got approved GC 🥳🎉🎊 Thank you God for altogether. I pray God for everyone to get approved soon.

Filing I-485J
My PD is November 2020. My case (I-485) was transferred to NBC last month, for the second time. Up to date, no movement still. I’m filing a I-485J next week. I’m aware that I will retain my PD but will it delay the approval of my green card?
Also, when filing a I-485J, will the original sponsoring company, get notified? Does the original company need to sign anything in I-485J form?

Travel after the denial of I-130 / Advance parole
Hi Everyone,
I had a marriage and filed I-130 & I-485 together, I got work authorization and travel card valid by October 2023. Then things didn’t go well with my spouse, I filed VAWA. when I receive my appointment letter for I485 I rescheduled my I-485 appointment since I filed VAWA. I traveled my country and came back without any issue, used advance parole.
Recently, USCIS sent me a letter for the denial of I-130 but I haven’t received any denial for I-485 and I-360 is also pending, so far I receive only one prima facae.
So my question is, can I still use my travel card ? Has anyone travelled after I-130 denial? if I receive a denial letter when I’m out of US, can I come back?
I haven’t applied new travel card yet. Even though I apply it won’t arrive by September. I have to travel within the September for 3 weeks.
The other question I have, on my arrival with advance parole card, officer stamped my passport as LPR. even though I’m not LPR yet. Anyone has similar experience?

almost 3 weeks since EAD approval with no movement
I got my I-485 associated EAD approval on Jul-10, but no upgrade so far in card being produced or anything. I was laid off in late Apr with termination date if Aug-1. now I have found a new job so trying to figure out whether to wait for EAD card to start work, or let my new employer file an H1B transfer. should I be concerned with the slow progress of EAD production?

Has anyone had to wait this long after having biometrics taken?
My husband has not even received his EAD yet, or a medical RFE. And the status has not updated yet to show biometrics were taken either, Oct. 5th last year was when the case updated again to "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS" which was the day after he did the biometric appointment. We have not heard anything since. This wait is absolutely insane, especially when you have no idea when they will actually work on your case.
Update: My husband filed an expedite request today (7/31/23) and I will update again when we hear back about it
Update: As of today, 8/10/23, Emma still says there are no updates and we still have not received anything acknowledging the expedite request other than the number from Emma.
Update: I am not sure what to do. It is now 8/18/23 and we still have not heard anything from uscis about our expedite request. Not to request documents, no update on our case, nothing. And the congressperson I tried contacting back in May has not helped, and they've called twice about someone else's case.

A-Number on Green Card Forms
Hi All, I first came to the US as an F1 student and did my OPT during that period. On my EAD card, I have an A-Number. However, when I adjusted my status to H-1B, the A-Number was never on the paperwork (not in the forms, not in the receipt notice, not in the approval letter). Should I include the old F-1 OPT A-Number on the I-130, I-485, I-765, etc.?

5 months since AOS interview, no updates!
Hello,
My wife (USC) and I (applicant) completed the interview more than 5 months ago. (We had a newborn few weeks before).
I filed for 485 inquiry after 120 days and it said 'Case within normal processing times'. We also filed I130 and congressman inquiries.
Any recommendations? #I485 #I130
