infopass with vawa
I hope this brings some light into the darkes we vawa applicant walk through every day while waiting to hear about our cases.
so basically the question is, can a info pass do something about VAWA cases? the answer is yes and no.
they don’t have much access to VAWA cases. yes they can provide some info like updates that you might not be able to see on your USCIS account. they can provide emergency advance parole if you have a work permit or are allow to legally be in the country. if you have vawa but enter through the border they can not do anything till your VAWA is approved.
if you wish to expedite and have all the requirements to expedite you are recommended to send your package to Vermont or wherever they are handling your case. You don’t need a lawyer to do it but make sure to include everything you have about your case and never the originals.
the officer was great and advised me to send my request to Vermont and write expedite on the envelope. told me Vermont replies within a week when you have a strong case but this can not be guaranteed. so that is what I did, I mailed it overnight.
do I recommend infopass appointment? yes, yes I do because I was informed that my “prima facie” was established and I had no idea of it. I still have to find out about what it means. I know is a good thing because that is what the officer said but that is all I got out from my info pass appointment.

Rfe services request after 60days#i485
I send rfe jun15 2023 and delivered June 17 2023, after 2 months I never received any updated, 14aug I call to uscis and sumbit my inquiry.
Today I received uscis mail, he say
your i485 is pending, we regret that we are not able to give you a time frame for when we will complete the review of ur petition. your rfe response was received. that it
anybody know how much time take by usics to approve 485
I already waiting last morethan 3years

my i539 got denied due to abandonment,went for biometrics on 1st may, got RFE on 19th July missed the mail,no physical mail bcz dso left school,21st aug denial notice on id,i290 on 25th aug with Rfe.
how long should I wait to hear back from uscis? status becomes illegal from 22nd aug,need only 20days to finish training. I already have a airline pilot job in india.I mailed my i290b instead of uploading it on my online account.
