Green card and SSN number
i applied for my parents for Green card , I’m US citizen
after the got in US 3 weeks after we received Green card but they didn’t received the SSN number is this normal? did this happen with someone before?

if you did not select that you want them to send you the social you will not get it. you will have to go to the SS office to make one

how long it take them to get the approval?

just go to the office and the should be able to submit an application. happed to my parent, and when I went they said we don’t see any application pending but we can apply now and they did.
