I submitted my documents on August 4th . received my receipt notice on august 25th. My biometrics was scheduled for September 12 and on September 14 , there was an approval for EAD standalone . but under the case status section it is saying case is actively being reviewed by USCIS . I’m not sure why the documents section is saying approved and then that section is saying something else . should I just disregard the case status section and just know that my ead is on its way ? #eadstandalone

At last the journey comes to and end. next is the citizenship.

Any experience with checking your expedite request using the reference number which they provide while applying? We applied by calling the USCIS.

Withdrawal of I-130/I-485
We have filed I-130/I-485 concurrently for my mother in law. She is in the United States on B2 Visa and wants to go back to India for an emergency. We filed for AP but it is taking time. Her visitors visa is valid till 2029. If we withdraw her application for green card, can she still reenter united states on her existing B2 Visa?
regarding i824
hello everyone,
I have a query regarding i824.My i30 priority date was 08.04.2020 and got approved on 12 April 23.I was told to submit i824 for retained petition send to nvc.The mistake I made on i30 was I didn’t mentioned which embassy I’m going to attend.now it’s been 5 month my i824 process in Texas Center.so my query is that ,is there any way to make i824 get approve fast by showing my case taking too long.can I get any help through other stuff.

it’s really really weird the fact tht they jus updated the #I-131 today fees were waived to fingerprints were taken. I did biometrics on July same day they updated the i-175 and I-485 what tht means

there has been a significant change for IR1 visa cases waiting to getting an interview at the lagos consulate.
those Documentarily qualified frm September October.. November nd December of 2022 alot have gotten an interview letter today... so with the latest move at the consulate one can say they re working more diligently nd the wait time is decreasing ..

USCIS Account myprogress tab
So when I applied the "myprogress" tab in my USCIS account started with 11 months the months kept decreasing till I hit 7 months and when the next month rolled over expecting to see 6 months it flipped to 3 weeks. I got excited and kept tracking it till the 1 week, 1 day and then it changed to "Case is taking longer than expected to process" that stayed from June 2023 till 19 Sept 2023. So on 20 Sept it changed to 5 weeks and today 21 Sept it is 4 weeks. Any insight on this should I be optimistic or is it a glitch and not to expect anything
