Case is being actively reviewed for 2 times!?
Hey you all!
I’m a vawa applicant, I kept my i485 and work permit from marriage and filed i360 in June 2022. After a year i485 gotten an action on August 20,2023. Then same notification, case is being actively reviewed by Uscis yesterday on September 10th. Do you think it’s an error or like they did another action on my case maybe rfe but it doesn’t show it?
I know i360 needs an action to get approved, my second question is can they approve i485 before i360?
Thank you for your time!!

Thought I'd share some insight from a military lawyer on Expedites
My husband and I filed our I-130 before his deployment, since we knew we would be separated anyway for the wait. applied for an expedite on grounds of the deployment, and the USCIS agent agreed we were a textbook case for it...
Expedite rejected. Almost immediately. In the back and forth of conflicting info, we eventually went to chat with the base lawyers (more to conform we didn't screw up somewhere when filing). The lawyer admitted that the expedites for military that they advertise is a complete myth. In his MANY years he's heard of 2 succeeding. Not even cases he's handled, two that he's aware of full stop.
We are now reaching the end of deployment, with no end in sight. Just the waiting game I guess!

USCIS: case status did not change to approved yet, is that normal?
will I get the NVC letter even if the status does not change to approved,
how long does it take till I receive the NVC letter?

Rfe
Is it normal for an RFE to come through mail versus in the documents section in USCIS online account? I have chatted with a live agent through Emma and she said that she doesn’t have access to the RFE and I have to wait for it to come in the mail within 7 days. I’m not happy about receiving an Rfe but at least I know I’m one step closer to an approval hopefully 🤞🏽🤞🏽

DQ But CEAC shows case note...????
"The income reported as stated on form I-864, I-864A is insufficient to overcome the public charge grounds of inadmissibility for visa issuance. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. For more information visit https://nvc.state.gov/aos and https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p. A consular officer will decide if you meet these requirements at the time of the interview. Note: You, as the sponsor, and any other sponsors household members and joint sponsors, must provide updated or additional evidence for the applicant to present at the time of their interview such as: * Other income * Assets * Proof of current employment Note: You submitted documentation to the National Visa Center through the Consular Electronic Application Center CEAC. You can continue to upload documents to CEAC up until the date of your visa interview."
I make more than double the required income amount for sponsorship and provided all the documents to prove so but this note is on our case now. My tax transcripts don't have a full years income so with that I also submitted my payroll history for the last 14 months as well as a letter on company letterhead confirming my continued and ongoing employment with the company as well as my current salary. why DQ us and say they'll be in touch with an interview date if they're seemingly just going to deny it?
