Los Angeles Field Office?
Can anybody share their timeline if your case is at the LA field Office? I haven't heard anything but I've seen so many cases from May be approved already 😩 PD: 05/09/23. #I-485 #greencard #LAFieldOffice

I-485 RFE for I-864s filed with OPT EAD but now working using CPT
Hi there,
Got my I-485 RFE this morning, its asking for:
1. proof for my legal/authorized employment (im the intended immigrant, my most recent tax return qualified for 125% of federal poverty guidelines)
2. My wife’s income is not enough cuz she is a full-time student and she’s using my income to sponsor me. It’s saying I need a joint sponsor
I filed I-485 and I-130 when I was still on F-1 OPT EAD. Shortly after that I enrolled in a master program and have been working using CPT since. Is the RFE ONLY asking for my new I-20 with CPT authorization, or they also want a joint sponsor on top of it? Thanks guys this is intense😭
Dependant Green Card
Hi All,
On September 15 the primary of our case (EB1-C) was approved (then again on the 20). His card has already been mailed. However, his process was in San diego Field office while mine (daughter and dependant) was all the way in Chicago for some reason. My case is still showing Case Transferred and a New Office has Jurisdiction since November 10 2022. Our priority date is current. Talked to Emma and she said my case just got transferred again to San Diego Field Office, same one my dads application was and got approved.
Does anyone know if this is a good sign? Is it likely my green card will be approved soon or it might be a really long wait? I just dont understand why USCIS processes our cases in different times since i’m a dependant but anyways, if anyone had a similar experience please share :) if there’s anything i could do maybe open an inquiry? Please let me know
