Divorce - Green card Renewal
Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding divorce - me and my American husband are getting a divorce. I received my 10-year green card. When it’s time for me to renew my permanent residency, do I need to tell USCIS that I am divorced?
Also, if I would apply for citizenship, would there be any issues after the the divorce?

App was received 8/11/23... up until 2 weeks ago it said i had 2 weeks left before decision could be decided. Last week it changed to processing longer than expected. today is 10/1/23 and my processing time has disappeared completely. what is going on? they are using my previous bios so i expected this renewal to be faster than my other 2 renewals but i guess i was wrong. i will expire before my new ead is issued and i have no clue how much longer i will have to wait for my card. im gonna lose my job. anyone has gone through this???
****Update: Today 10/6 my case has been approved and card is being produced!

Urgent Help Needed: No I-751 Copy & N-400 Date Issues
Hello,
I need urgent help. I didn’t keep a copy of my submitted I-751 form and now face possible date inconsistencies while filling out my N-400.
- Does anyone have advice on quickly getting a copy of a submitted I-751?
- How can I handle potential date conflicts between the two forms?
Any advice or shared experience is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Does USCIS ever update documents without sending an email notification?
I’ve been trying not to obsess over checking the online portal so much. I figured I should just wait until my husband gets the email alert that action has been taken on our case. I wonder, can USCIS update the documents section with your approval and not immediately send the email? Similar to how they can update documents with the approval notice without actually updating the case status to approved. In which case, it might be a good idea to continue checking the online portal even without receiving the email that action has been taken. What do you think?
For context, I’m a US Citizen and we’ve already had the 1-130 and EAD approved. We’re waiting on the I-485 approval now. We got an RFE for updated tax returns and some other little things. We have an attorney. We already responded to the RFE on August 16 with the help of our attorney. We sent in his medical form when we initially filed. Our office is the national benefits center. We filed the I-485 in Nov 2022.
The “processing time left tab” is missing
I remember when I was checking on online, there is a tab called something like “processing time”, when I open it, it shows 2 week left for my I-130 to be reviewed. but the tab is missing now, and I can’t find it!
do anyone experience some thing like me or just mr?
Can't log into NVC
Hi guys! I finally got my case number from NVC, but I can't log into the system . It says my invoice number and case number don't match to each other!
Has anybody come through a such problem ?

now im just waiting for my card to be delivered.
I really thought that the waiting time would be longer because of my medical situation. i had 5 months (estimated progress) of waiting then 1 week and changed to longer than expected then changed to 4 months and then approval!
I'm hoping for everybody's approval as well! 🩵
