92 days since interview, still ‘actively reviewing’
Hey guys,
anyone here experiencing long waits after I-485 interview? the officer mentioned he’d be approving the green card, and the I-130 really got approved a couple days later, but the I-485 changed to “actively reviewing” at the interview, and hasn’t changed since. 🥲
EXPERIENCE WITH ADVANCED PAROLE
Hey y’all! i’m back from my home country. i spent 6 days. i just got back today. actually sitting at the airport waiting for my ride. But I used my combo card and it was painless honestly. Much like others have mentioned, i joined the visitor line and the Customs officer sent me to secondary inspection. they checked my documents, asked me if i was adjusting my status and then stamped my passport. very painless and not as scary as i thought. the officers here in Orlando international were nice. My final stop is Texas but i promised i would share. hope this helps.
After 5 years in America, I’m finally greened 🎉😭

i got a question please answer it .
my mom is a retired employee and in the i 130 form ask about NAME OF CURRENT EMPLOYER so i entered as retired
then the form ask about WHEN DID YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYMENT BEGIN ? what should do i have to enter ?
i think i have to enter the date that my mom retired .
Change of Service Center
Waiting 7 months so far for spouse visa…did live chat with Emma to ask if maybe there was a RFE or any mail I missed and if case was still at Texas Service Center. the live agent replied that it was never at Texas Center and was sent to Potomac since the date I submitted the application. It’s weird because my receipt letter said Texas. Does anyone have experience with Potomac center and wait times???

like the title says…. it’s just gotten on my nerves a lot lately to see people who applied a matter of 3-6 months ago, talking about how they’ve already been approved yet there’s people like me who have been waiting well over a year.. some waiting two or more.. WTAF is this all about? WE get shoved to the back of the line for NEW applicants? I think USCIS has some stuff backwards.. absolutely ridiculous. to those of you still waiting like I am, I hope this all speeds up and they start putting those of us who’ve actually been waiting FIRST! just doesn’t make any sense to me. can make us wait 1-2 years + but oh no, the new applications have to be done IMMEDIATELY 🥴. Rant over.. Sorry if I offended anyone but 🤷🏼♀️ it’s the truth.
UPDATE GUYS!
Hello!
So I got a notification from Lawfully that there was an update on my I-485 case. I logged into my USCIS account & found that there was a case status update for today: “Request For Initial Evidence Was Sent”
there is nothing yet under my documents tab & I keep refreshing to see if it will update.
Does anyone know what this means? I have sent my medical package yet could this be it?? & if anyone with experience knows about how look I can expect to see the notification under my documents tab or receipt in the mail??
thank you guys
& I’ll keep y’all posted!!!
