Approved with an I-824 🙃
Hey everyone, saw the second actively reviewed message and sure enough there was the approval doc! The part that’s killing me is we received the I-824 BUT I knew we made that mistake back in February and submitted a typographical error request that was accepted in March. The message was “the error will be corrected upon adjudication”. Has anyone else been through this? I think I may throw up :(

I have a quick question, I’m divorced, can USCIS go back and call my ex wife to ask questions after interview? is this a common practice by USCIS?
I did my waiver interview and officer was very cold, and I don’t think it went well. we finally now got over the divorce, with all the problems and paper work and it’s finally finalized. our relationship is terrible now and I’m worried that USCIS reach out to her. let me know your thoughts

Rejected document by NVC
Hello everyone. I have a question about our NVC case. We've successfully submitted all required documents to CEAC, except for one issue: my police certificate from Aruba. Although I currently reside in The Netherlands, I lived in Aruba until 2018. I obtained the police certificate from Aruba and uploaded it to CEAC. However, it was rejected with the following comment: 'Part of this document is missing or is difficult to read. Please replace this with a scan that shows the complete text of the document. Please ensure all sides of every page are scanned and visible. Please visit https://nvc.state.gov/scan for further guidance.'
The document I submitted is in clear, high-resolution, PDF format, and it's not cut off or cropped in any way. My husband submitted an inquiry to NVC to ask about this, but the response left us confused: 'The document you previously submitted is unacceptable per reciprocity. Please resubmit so NVC can review your case.'
We're confused for two reasons:
1. The initial comment we received is very different to the response to our inquiry.
2. We don't understand what 'unacceptable per reciprocity' means. The police certificate we received is from the correct issuing authority in Aruba, it is the correct document.
Any insights or guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
