love #I'm waiting for confirmation
Hi all! This is a love story that happened to me a year ago, I met a guy on the Internet, we talked for a long time, and we decided that we wanted to try to live together and start a family. He is in America, and I am in Ukraine. I really hope that I will receive confirmation soon and we will be together. This is a completely new country for me, but I believe that everything will work out.

Expedite Parole - F2A
I lost my grandma, the person who raised me alone, July last year, in Brazil. I’m still in the process of grieving and I came to the US in September last year. I applied for the GC in February as a spouse of LPR (F2A). It was current when I applied and I got my 130 approved as well as the 765 in May.
When I filed the 131 I sent lots of evidence to ask for a parole because my grandma on my mom’s side is very sick. I sent her exams, her ID, my other grandma’s death certificate, a letter explaining the situation and my birth certificate to proof the relationship.
Tried to expedite it before but never got successful.
My grandma keeps getting worse and I’m afraid I’m gonna lose her while I’m away. A flight to my home city takes 12 hours at least to get there and funerals are host on the same day or following day of death. I know I’m being a big negative about her stage but it’s been concerning and I need to be prepared for the worst.
Now my need to go to expedite the parole has increased with my wedding plans. Since when I filed my case it was current for F2A and I’ve already had my 130 approved in May, my husband and I started planning our wedding in Brazil for April next year, with the hope I’d be able to travel to Brazil by then. We’ve already spent hundreds of thousands on this wedding, plus a huge amount on the honeymoon in in another country.
Now my worst nightmare has double reasons with the fear of losing my grandma far away and missing my own wedding. Cancellations are not a possibility and since we’ve hired over 20 companies to do the services, postponing it would depend of their availability on the same day, plus extra costs.
I really don’t understand what USCIS gain on “locking” people in US during the process of changing their status. I know I can leave, but then I won’t be able to come back and I’ll have to be away from my husband for god knows how long.
I’ve seen horrible stories of people in need to expedite their parole and never getting succeeded. Anyone with a positive story to give me hope or an advice of how to proceed?
Thank you in advance.
