anyone getting anywhere from May 2023
my husband and I submitted for my green card back in May 2023, we sent everything in at the same time. Within two weeks we received the notice that they had a receipt number, then in July I submitted the fingerprints and medical. The site was showing a timeline and now “Your case is taking longer than expected to process. You will be notified if you need to take any action.” Anyone have a similar situation? #greencard #spouse

Delay in updating case status
Hello everyone,
My dad received his greencard 2 weeks ago. The case status still says “Card was picked up by USPS”. His i-131 still shows case has been received status. We went to Social Security office to update his status. For some reason, the officer couldn’t proceed because it showed red flag. How long would it take for USCIS to update his case status? He wants to travel overseas but not sure if he can without final case update from USCIS.
Anyone has gone through similar scenario?

so today I heard back from CRU (no idea what unit is this) regarding the help I asked from White House online
“Thank you for your letter to President Joseph R. Biden regarding the status of your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
The White House referred your letter to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Contact Center. Your letter has been assigned case #************. As part of our commitment to helping the public, we strive to resolve any problems you may experience when applying for immigration services.
We understand your concerns and will give you accurate information and guidance. In your letter, you state that your case has been pending since April 2022 and you have not received any updates from USCIS. You are requesting assistance from President Biden to help move your case forward to completion expeditiously.
The Special Cases Unit has been in contact with the Yakima Field Office making them aware of your concerns. The Yakima Field Office has informed us that your case is currently under review with an Immigration Services Officer. Once the Immigration Services Officer completes their review, you will receive an update. If you do not receive an update within 60 days from the date of this email, you may email us back at CCDC-CRU@uscis.dhs.gov. You may also monitor the status of your case by logging into your online account.”

New biometrics yes or No
Did biometrics with i130 in Dec, 2021, withdrew and filed VAWA in March,2022. submitted the i765,i131& i485 in May 2023, to date I have not received any notice for a biometrics. is that normal? are they gonna use the previous one or will they request to do a new one?
