need help !
hello everybody!
i have a question about my case 485 unskilled worker. my pd is 03/2020. i filled it on 03/2021. my case was transferred to NBC on 09/2022. and the last message i got from status online on 10/2022 is “ Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken.” i have not got any messages from that time . I wondered they forgot my case ? and what should i do now ? i asked my attorney and live chat . they told me “ your case is normal processing” and i can’t submit the inquiry until 05/2025. while many cases was approved even they have PD or filling time after my case. Moreover , my friend’s case applied at the same time and we work together for the sponsor. his case got RFE medical. i need some help ! thank you very much! hope everyone will get GC soon !

Finally, I made it to the final round. I am excited to share my timeline. My application was completed 6 days before the one-year mark. My case was handled by the Baltimore office. Fingers crossed for everyone!

The day after I got my biometrics my case changed to “your case is being actively reviewed by USCIS” somebody know how long it takes to review the case? it’s been 4 months and no answer. thank you

got visa interview appointment (timeline)
after USCIS approval this is our timeline from nvc welcome letter to our appointment at embassy.
nvc welcome- September 4
Nvc RFE- September 14 (I Simply needed to hand sign my AOS nothing more)
nvc approved/documents accepted- September 29
immigrantt visa appointment scheduled- November 6
embassy appointment date- December 11.
we filled the I130 December 24 2022 so it took us totally exactly 1 year and our marriage is abroad so we went through consular processing. Hope this helps you guys. Wish you all the best 🫶🏻

Traveling with a pending asylum case
To whom it may concern,
I have a pending asylum case since 2017, I got married and got my 10 years green card through marriage July 2023, I sent a withdrawal letter for my asylum case since September and never heard anything back, I recently travelled to the UK (not my country of persecution) with my country passport and came back yesterday with no problems, no questions asked.
