Waiting a judge signature
Waiting a Judge Signature
I filed a joint motion to terminate a removal proceeding and the DHS lawyer agreed. Then we sent it to the judge to sign, and It's been a month and no response. How long does it take for the judge to sign this removal proceeding, my case is in Newark New Jersey. Anyone similar situation or who has experience can help, please?

it varies but in most cases when it’s joint the judge will sign anywhere between weeks- 3 months or so. it really depends on the judge

@ T Y, yes I have a lawyer. I called him and asked why is taking too long for a judge to sign, he replied and said he called the court and my motion with the judge. I don’t know how long is gonna take.
