My priority date is April 23, 2024, and the receipt date is May 1, 2024, for my Form I-140. It has been 436 days since the last update. Is this normal? Nebraska service

Hi guys, So I’m about to send another folder with what they are requesting that I’ve already submitted previously. But I don’t want to go through my lawyer because last time I did, they didn’t even send everything telling me it was not necessary. Ok, but I want to put all the chances on my send, I rather send everything I can even if it’s not necessary than not sending enough. Can people who filed themselves tell me how to send those documents? Where? And except the document what should I put in the folder? #vawa #rfe #i360 #i485

Hey everyone, Just checking in to see if anyone with an IR2 visa case has gotten their interview letter from the U.S. Embassy in Yaoundé, Cameroon recently? My case was DQ’d on June 27, 2025, and I’m trying to get a sense of which months they’re currently scheduling. Hello fellas, just a little update from my interview yesterday. it went really well basically when officer called us into the room he told us our case has been approved even before took the Oat and the only reason they called us for interview was because it is mandatory for every single person to have an interview. we lasted about 10 minutes in the room and he only asked to see my passport. this morning we woke up to an approved notice. thanks very much everyone out here, your time is definitely coming soon.

has anybody had their marriage based interview recently? how was it?

my wife and i just recently got scheduled to have the interview and we’re just a little nervous, we’re confident but nervous in case the officer is a little tough on us, but how was you guys experience?

I eligible to file n400 in 3 months. can I file early? will it approve before the 3 months period? does it affect when it’s gets approved. is there any possibility of spending it up?

How long after approval do we expect welcome letter from nvc?

Good morning, community. I requested the renewal of my work permit, the 765, through my lawyer, for which I paid $500, since I had the two-year one. My VAWA case is still pending. I filed in May 2022 and received the receipt, the I-797C. When I asked the paralegal—since I only saw the lawyer once, back in 2022 when I hired him, and never again—he told me at first that this receipt allowed me to keep working for another 540 days. But when I asked again later, a different paralegal told me that no, the receipt doesn’t mean anything. Have any of you received this receipt to present while waiting for your work permit to be approved?

CR6 conditional card on Approval Notice — But Married Over 2 Years! Did Anyone Still Get 10-Year Card?

Hey everyone, I had my I-485 and I-130 interview on the exact day of my 2-year wedding anniversary, and my case was approved the next day. when I was 2 years and 1 day married. But the approval notice says CR6, which is for conditional green cards. I thought I’d be getting an IR6 (10-year green card) since we hit the 2-year mark on the interview date and got approved the day after not on the spot. I haven’t received the physical card yet — just going by the approval notice. Has anyone else had this happen? Did you still receive a 10-year card even though the notice said CR6? Or did you have to file an I-90 to fix it? Any insight would help. Thanks in advance!
