its different categories different actions, you were probably category 1 which is fingerprints and signature only, i was category 2 which was photo and signature. its just to update previous biometrics records and your case is still gonna show in process till it passes the vetting stage before being adjuducated. we all just gotta wait at this point.

It’s not unusual for biometrics activity for a renewal I-765 to not appear clearly in the online account. USCIS systems are often inconsistent with those updates. Also, USCIS does not always retake photos at biometrics appointments. Sometimes they reuse a prior photo and only need updated fingerprints for background checks.
