OMG God to be glory 😳
it’s been a long waiting time but yes God is keeping his promises!! I just got a second actively review on my I-130 and when I went to check it I saw my I-130 approval notice 😂😂😂😂, Thank you God for listening to my prayers, now I will wait for the I-485 hopefully very soon. Guys please trust the process and trust God, with him you don’t have to worry at all!!!!!

hi everyone.After 1.7 months break from all the immigration hustle-I’m back now to apply for I-751.
on the uscis website it says that the applicant needs to send 2 forms FD-258.So you basically get this form printed and do your own finferprints at home?Why do i need to pay for biometrics then🤪
Sharing my greencard journey (migrating my employer sponsorship to spousal
USC sponsorship)
I did not see many people with my journey so sharing here in case it's helpful for anyone.
Context: I am an Indian citizen and applied for my employee I-485 in 2020 when my dates became current for filing (priority date : Oct 2014 EB2), my application was at NBC. However, no movement to the dates since 2020 (retrograded to 2012).
Meanwhile, I also got married to a US citizen in 2022 and the lawyers advised that I apply for my 1-130 with my employee I-485 application rather than filing a fresh I-485 (done Dec 5th 2022). My 1-130 got approved Oct 2023, but no movement on I- 485.
I was getting restless and was going to file a fresh 1485 in the new year consulted a few other lawyers and all of them suggested I should have filed for a fresh i-485 rather than used my employers existing
1-485). We did a final last attempt in Dec 2023 and filed a letter to USCIS making the request to change the underlying basis to the approved 1130 and providing them with all of the relevant information. I also reached out to my congresswoman and the representative was super helpful and they reached out to USCIS for my case. Within 10 days of contacting the representative, my case got approved with conditional greencard! I applied in 2014 and finally got my greencard in 2023, very grateful for this subreddit for answering all my questions and saving $$ in filing a fresh i485.

hello everyone, submitted my I-130 almost 19 mounts ago, still haven't hear anything. recently we could be able to ask about it and they said "your case delayed cause of security check"
and they said that they can't decide untill they recive the result. it's just really hard to belive a security check is taking that long.
is there anyone else who has the same situation?

It was such a long process! it doesn't show anything after I-130 approval but it has been at NVC since September so even still quite a wait. I had my interview and got approval on 17th Jan. sending approval luck to all those who are still waiting!

El día de ayer en la mañana me entregué a Dios le dije que iba a borrar todas las aplicaciones que tenía para revisar el estado de mis casos y que todo se diera en su tiempo perfecto. A la media hora de eso a mitad de mañana sale un aviso de Lawfully que el caso de mi hija estaba siendo activamente revisado el mío no, hoy a la misma hora sale que el mío estaba siendo activamente revisado., me meto en mi cuenta en línea y solo sale el aviso y luego me meto en la cuenta en línea de mi esposo y bajó documentos la aprobación de mi I-130 aprobada (aún espero la de mi nena) GRACIAS GRACIAS BENDITO DIOS POR NO SOLTARNE Y ENSEÑARME QUE TÚ TIENPO ES PERFECTO ahora a esperar que aprueben mi green card. 🙏🏻
