went to the sponsor straight and got a chance for an interview
My agency told me to wait and answered me that they dont know when I will work.
Just because I am bored, need money, and want to wait in the safe zone, I went straight to the sponsor and asked them when I actually get to work.
what the sponsor job answer me was: “ you can have an interview next monday and if you get hired, you will be joined the orientation”
My question here is: is what I did okay for my visa process? would it be a problem because I did not wait for my agency make me actually work?
Approved in 73 days!
Just got notification that I was approved today. I came to the US in 2006 on a student visa, and have been on H1B since graduating in 2009. Employer filed green card never moved much.
Got married to my husband in Sept 2023, filed via a lawyer on Dec 12th 2023, got Combo card EAD on Feb 1st and all approvals today. Case was always at NBC. Hopefully the green card gets here soon! Feel free to ask any questions that you may have! And goodluck to everyone out there!

So far
USCIS hires more staffs.
USCIS increases the filling fees.
USCIS uses the chart A for filling.
USCIS extends EAD to 5 years.
There are a lot of changes recently. If they push the PD, I hope they can make it up to June 2022 soon.
If they use this year for backlogs again, We would get 2.5 years backlogs.
Even they try to use up 10k approvals including dependents this year, this year they still have about 20k I-140 approved waiting for Green Card approved or filing I-485.
It is reasonable to be slow. The only hope is if they could increase the annual GC cap up to 280k again for the next two fiscal years 2025, 2026.
Guys, we are really in the most horrible moments of processing time. I don’t see any hope for this year. USCIS is stricter in immigration, they could potentially leave us like this for years. Anyone has any good ideas please comment.

1 year under review/ F2A overseas
Hi everyone, my case has been under active review for over a year now, my PD is December 14th, 2022 and active review date is December 20th, 2022. Does anyone have an idea as to how long for a second review or any news? It’s been stuck on the same thing for over a year now, nothing new has happened! Anyone with the same experience? have any f2a’s been approved recently?

Missed biometrics
My husband missed his biometrics appointment because we did not received any notice by mail or in the website. they updated the case on 2/22 saying post office could not deliver. The original appointment was 2/15. I called to explain and have them reschedule, they put him back in queue for new appointment. DID ANY ONE HAD SIMILAR SITUATION MISSING BIOMETRICS AND HOW LONG IT TOOK TO RECEIVE NEW APPOINTMENT? 🥹
