@Charlie SC, mine delivered on 27th....although I didn't include electronic notification, but the check has not been cashed!

it’s normal, I got my receipt after 2 weeks of package delivery to USCIS

I received my receipt exactly 15 days after they received my application. wait. it takes time.

@Em and @Tee Babah, where these text notifications or the actual receipt notices in the mail?

I got text message after 14 days. afterwards notification came. You will then get a notification letter again (usually 4 to 5 weeks after submission) for biometrics.

@Tee Babah, thanks for the information. Fingers crossed, they cash the cheque next week. That will mean that the receipt notice is on the way.

@Charlie SC mine was delivered on March 27th and I still hadn’t received a text/email as of today so I just called about an hour ago and the person I spoke with confirmed they’ve received my application provided my receipt numbers for I-140, I-485, I-765, I-131. You can give them a call too if that helps!

hello, I sent my package too to Dallas on 3/5, just received text message with receipt number yesterday. so it was 30 days! hope that helps

@Y D, this is unexpected but interesting!! I thought that the text message notification is automatic? Please what information did you provide to the agent to be given your receipt numbers?

@Rijo Rijo yeah I thought so too about the text/email notification. I think they’ll eventually notify you via text/email but it had been 10 days and I still hadn’t heard anything so I decided to call and find out what was happening. The live agent asked for my name and DOB, when I submitted my case and which forms I submitted. After she verified my info, she confirmed receipt and provided all relevant receipt numbers and the service center processing my case

@Rijo Rijo also I used a money order. I checked the status of my case using the receipt numbers the live agent provided and it said my case had been received and a receipt notice has been sent out

@Y D, oh wow! That is awesome. I didn't include the electronic notification document. Hence, not expecting a text message. However, I am relying on my check clearance notification to know if USCIS has processed my case. Till now, it has not cleared. Thinking of why you already got your receipts, even though we submitted at the same time, could it be because you submitted your i140 at the same time?

update: till today (4/9), no sms notification or mail for receipts.

@Charlie SC, awesome. Congratulations 🎊 once again! Till now, no updates for me. Maybe USPS (although the tracking says delivered) didn't deliver it. Given that mine delivered 2 days before yours, I expect to have received my receipts (or at least, the check to have been cashed).

@Charlie SC, seems as if you work for USCIS. Currently, it shows that 3 out of 4 checks were cashed. Not sure why all were cash the same time. USCIS can definitely do better!
