Consular Interview approved! Our timeline 😁❤️

Hello all, The visa for my wife was just approved and we wanted to share our timeline and experience and what questions were asked at the embassy for the interview for your reference 😁 -Submitted Application to USCIS : January 24, 2023 -Case actively being reviewed : January 24, 2023 (Our case was being processed at the Texas Service Center) -USCIS Decision : December 22, 2023 -NVC Documentarily Qualified: January 3, 2024 -Interview Date at embassy/Approval date : March 5, 2024 The entire visa process took 13 months and 10 days! 😁 Questions asked at her interview : Who is the petitioner? Where and when did you meet? When was the wedding? Are either of you previously divorced? Do either of you have children? Do you have any prior convictions or criminal record? Have you lived in another country other than Colombia? Have you been to the United States? What does your spouse do for work? Where does your spouse live?

After a 30-month wait, my lawyer submitted my EAD/AP renewal application to the Nebraska Service Center. Recently, I was notified that my case has been moved to a different office jurisdiction. I am currently awaiting a letter to understand the reasons behind this transfer.

I-140 just approved, need an O-1, O-3?

Hi, thanks all for your virtual presence. My EB-1B outstanding researcher I-140 just got approved in 5 days with premium processing (and some delays because the first time my credit card saw the USCIS fees as “fraud alerts” and the whole concurrent package was sent back with open medicals, we lost 22 days)!! My H1B is expiring in 3 weeks (6 years and 230 days extension) so my employer is filing an O-1 for me so I can keep working while my I-765 (EAD) is pending. We are also filing O-3 visas for my dependents but my question is whether this is really necessary since we filed everything concurrently (I-765, I-485, I-131) for all of us?

My ead renewal application was approved in less than 2 weeks.

God knows I needed this so badly as I am starting in a new job soon. however, my husband’s ead was not approved yet. Is anyone in the same situation where one of the applicants got it approved and the other one did not ?

hi guys! I’m so overwhelmed and nervous at the same time! my I-485 has been approved but I-130 is still pending. where do I stand?

I applied for my GC and EAD on September 2023, I got biometrics appointment on November 2023, my GC updated to fingerprints showed but my EAD only shows that it was received by USCIS, does anyone had a similar case? is it possible that I will get my GC before my EAD or is it delayed ?

wondering the status of 2021 filers!! my PD is october 21 2021 and still waiting 😰

I know that the estimated time on MyUSCIS is not accurate, but my time is changing daily from 4 months to 4 weeks and back since December 2023. My I-130 takes longer than expected since December as well, and nothing changed yet. Could this mean something? Or am I just putting my hopes up for nothing? 🥲🫠
