Expedite Request EAD
hi,
This morning, I requested expedite EAD, 30 minutes after submitting it I got a response to my USCIS portal saying that after reviewing my request they find more appropriate to forward it to the the officer processing it at the NBC.
Anyone experiencing something similar ? I would like to learn a bit more not sure what’s the meaning of that.

Date might become current in April 2024. Next steps?
Hi,
My date will become current from 1st April 2024 onwards. I applied I-485 in Decmber 2022, and went into CRP from November 2023 onwards. I really want to leverage this EB1 movement in April VB, and get some results on I485 pending application. What are few things i can do get USCIS's attention
1. Ping emma again and again?
2. create a SR? --> i may have to wait for 60 days for them to act on this, during which dates may move back again
3. Contact my congressman?
has anyone had luck with any of these? Any other options that I can try?

In May 19/2023 my husband (greencard holder) , submit i130 petition for alien relative,
in August 4/2023 #case was actively reviewed by uscis, and in March 5/2024 #case is taking longer than expected.

How to get Forign passport from ICE - DHS ?
I’m a us green card holder now .In 2017 ice Dhs held my passport at ice dhs center at oakbrook Illinois (I went there through an attorney because I over stayed and ice was looking for me )
when I tried to reach oakbrook DHS ice office they have moved out from that building.
when I call DHS they transfer me to USCIS and USCIS telling me to talk to ICE- DHS .
when I call my embassy to get a new passport they said they need a police report and they can’t accept ice documents because it doesn’t explicitly say they took my passport.
Now I want to get it back
Can you help me how to do that please ?
I-485 interview waived but I-130 sent to Local Field Office
Hello guys,
My I-485 interview was waived but the I-130 has been sent to a local field office. Has anyone here encountered that before and also what does it mean?
Here’s where I need your help:
Has anyone received similar updates? How long did it take for I-130 to be approved after it was moved from NBC to a Local field office?
Also, how long did it take for your I-485 to be approved?
My filing date was 7th April, 2023.
April 2024 Visa Bulletin:”Very little to no forward movement is expected in the coming months since the final action dates for many categories advanced for April 2024.”
this is our stretch, folks. hope pending I-485 applicants will receive good news by September (end of this fiscal year for USCIS).
