Change of address for i485 family based application
Hi,
I have been filing i485 eb3 unskilled. I had an interview on July 2023 and my case has been pending since that interview.
And I got engaged with and my fiance who is a US citizen, and will get married on this October 13th. So I decided to file another i485 in family based category.
We decided to live together, so I will move in to his condo soon. And I will change my home address too.
My question is should I change the address on the eb3 i485 application too? it’s because I am submitting a new case in a different category.

you should always change your address to be correct, so yes. but you can’t file for a 485 without a 130 and if you’re in the same country you need to file the at after you’re married in October. I may have misunderstood something but I’d talk to a lawyer just to make sure you’re doing things correct

yes you will want to change your home address on eb3 based 485, after you filed family based 485, you should withdraw your eb3 based have a cover letter explaining why you are withdrawing it

@the three time AR lost hoper I don’t think you need to withdraw your current eb3 based i485. Both i485 can go parallel. Which ever based GC comes first the other one get automatically cancelled after that.
