So here’s a small tip that may or may not help others:
(I am the petitioner for my wife’s case, so I’m speaking on her behalf)
Her biometrics were originally scheduled for the 30th, but we had plans to visit my family then, so we rescheduled.
turns out biometric appointments were plentiful and simply made the appointment the next day. I assume this greatly help speed up the approval.
Summary: see if you can schedule biometrics sooner than originally scheduled

Priority date was wrong by USCIS
My old priority date is 2016 but new I140 approval isnt appeared old date, so I can apply to get interview schedule as Visa bulettin is current. what should I do for this case? Please sharing! Thanks so much.
P/S: I already applied premium fee for I140 approval, anh then it was done, and sent to NVC for next step, but priority date was wrong so my lawyer had called it from NVC to USCIS for adjust the priority date but I was waiting from Sep 17, 2024 up to now but nothing was heard. 😭

hey everyone, my wife and I just realised she forgot to submit her divorce papers from her previous marriage when she filed the i130 and i130a while I was in Australia, does this matter? what should we do? I only thought we need them for the actual interview in my home country

On 16 Oct I saw the Approval of my 1131 on my USCIS on-line account .
1. When I could expect to receive the notice by mail ? ( this is not valid for travel , right ? )
2. And when will I finally receive the official travel document for travel use ?

my time has finally come!!! I was so worried the last 2 months but everything worked out. I’m going to tell you guys how my interview went because I searched high and low and couldn’t find much.
so I had posted here that I felt that my case wasn’t right, because instead of approval they just said biometric applied, so a couple of weeks later my lawyer told me that they scheduled an interview back in the state where I applied my vawa (which I don’t live there anymore) and she told me that they could refuse to take my interview because I moved and send me to do one where I live now. or I could just have 2 interviews, you never know… we would only know on the day and she didn’t want to miss it because we could be lucky and they would just do my interview, again, you never know..
so the day of my interview was the 15th, had my lawyer with me, my appointment was at 9am, we waited around 15min until the officer called us in, he asked for my identification, and started the questions, confirmed that my case was a vawa, asked my last date of arrival in the us and if I ever left the country after I arrived (which was no), asked if I was ever convicted of any crime, if I was ever in front of a immigration judge (all no), if I was still married (no) asked for the record, asked if my spouse was an American citizen (which she wasn’t at the time, now I have no idea), then proceeded to confirm I had said yes to working without autorization and that I said yes that I violated the terms of my visa, he asked how long I worked without authorization and why I violated the terms of my visa (overstayed and worked without authorization), he then asked when me and my spouse separated (I asked if it was the divorce and he said no, so I said the date) my lawyer later said he couldn’t have asked that but he didnt ask a lot of questions and felt it was ok not to intervene, he then proceeded to tell me he wrote everything down and asked me to sign the 485 that the interview was done 🙏🏼😭 my lawyer confirmed he had my medicals and also gave him my 864 (I believe) in case they needed it, he said yes and ok. printed a piece of paper and handed to me and my lawyer, he said we were done with the interview, he would do another check and if I wasn’t a spy lol or committed any crime I should be good and would hear back from them in about 3/4 weeks, asked if I had any questions I said no, and he walked us out. I felt such a relieve, everything was around 15min and my lawyer said everything went great. I was just thinking that I would be refreshing the app for the rest of the week and 10min after the interview he approved my case.

I can’t deal with this process no longer
your telling me uscis can update notifications about how people supposed to make payment but they can’t keep an accurate information updated on the account money money money everything about money an leave people unanswered an stressed ….. without documents it’s hard an you get treated different and when your doing the right thing you have to kiss asses an put aside it’s so unfair but approved work permit so you can pay taxes etc an help build a system that doesn’t care about you an your love ones I’m so depressed
Why does my timeline not show some things? Like biometrics for 765 and 131/ case decision.
Hi again, I did my biometrics and it shows it on my USICS account. Also, I am showing that I am in the decision stage for 765 and 131. But on this app my timeline does not show that. I see other peoples show biometrics and when something goes into approval/denial stage.
I have been stuck in “attend interview if required” for my 485 for months now.
Just frustrated. 😣
