Hello guys, a question recently when you received the work permit card did you also get the social security or did you have to go to the office to apply for it? I ask because many say that they are no longer sending it, and that one has to go yes or yes, to the office to apply for #sijs #ead #ssn
change of Address
My husband and I recently moved to a new address. He already received his two-year green card.
On the USCIS website, there's an option to update the address by providing the receipt number and A-number. Even though his case is approved and he has his green card, should he use the receipt number and A-number from our previous case?
After updating the address on the website, is there anything else he needs to do?
As a US citizen, I tried to change my address through the app, but I encountered an issue.
“Do not use this request to change your address if: You have submitted an affidavit of support for another person and you are a U.S. citizen” I search on google and it says that I need to file form 1-865, Sponsor's Notice of Change of Address” what should I do I need help ASap.
Outside Normal Processing Time Service Request
I applied for VAWA on April 22, 2022, so next month it will be 46 months.
On the USCIS website, the posted processing time is 46 months, so I assume I can submit an Outside Normal Processing Time Service Request, which is a request asking USCIS to review a case that has exceeded the normal processing time.
Has anyone done this before?
Is it worth doing?
I see that it can be done online.
Should I ask my lawyer to submit it, or can I do it by myself?
Or should I just keep waiting, considering everything that’s going on with immigration right now?
Based on a pending I-485 application
