Hu guys, I received an email saying my case was at the NVC and was told that I need to send Affidavit and my husband need to send some paper. my question is what exactly should I send them from my side? and what exactly should I send from my husband?! I’m confused on what exactly they are looking for? i tried reaching out to my lawyer and they point blank haven’t got back to me! I emailed, called , message… they just don’t get back! please help someone! what exactly are they looking? my husband is in abroad and I’m in US.

How long does it take for them to mail EAD?

So I got approved for my EAD after 4 days. I applied for EAD based on pending I-485 that we applied for back in May 2023. I applied for it so late because I had a pending OPT based EAD at the time and didn’t know I could still apply as it was free anyway. Anyway, my OPT EAD expired in July (it is fun being unemployed haha) and I thought since my I-485 interview was in august we would be fine. No, even though the interview went well, I did have an overstay before we applied so the IO said the application needed to be reviewed by her supervisor. Our interview was at the Washington FO in Fairfax, VA. Anyway, so I applied for the EAD which got approved like so quickly (can they just look at everything else now??) but I still need the actual EAD to go back to work. Does anyone know how long that would take? I had to wait 3 months for my OPT based EAD to come in and that was a traumatic experience.

Hi lawfully, has anyone received RFE from USCIS requesting for more evidence. The case was not physical abuse is based on emotional and psychological abuse and they're requesting for battered/ extreme cruelty or more strong evidence. please, if you'd received such RFE your suggestion, concern and opinion is needed. NVC Welcome Letter

I received my NVC welcome letter a couple hours ago, payed the fees and now waiting for them to be processed. it’s been about 5 days since getting our I-130 approved so the wait wasn’t that long. 🤞 onto the next.
