Expedite Process
Hello everyone, my EAD renewal application was submitted over 4 months ago and my case was recently transferred to the Vermont Service Center.
I'd like to expedite the process as my current EAD expires in November, which will also impact my driver's license. Can anyone guide me on the steps I should take? I currently work in a pharmacy, and I believe this qualifies me to request an expedited processing.#vawa #ead
ead approved month ago no ssn
august 6th I got ead no ssn waited month n called ssa lady said we are waiting on dhs to send us information. I called uscis person said it is out of ordinary they should have it by now. he gave me no. to call SAVE who verifies n transfer ur file to ssa. save agents said we are waiting on save supervisor to call us. told me to wait another 4 weeks.
Finally, the wait is over!! I am so elated and joyful.
It took well over 2 years and eight months. I thought the wait will never end. I finally got an approval in my case without a request for additional evidence, an interview, transfer to a different uscis office or a denial/notice of intent to deny(NOID). The long wait time was agonizing and excruciating but I am so glad I was eventually approved.

urgent help, getting overwhelmed
Hello everyone,
I had my EB-2 NIW approved late last year and decided to apply for EB-1 Extra Ability this year. My application was submitted in January 2024 without premium processing. On July 27, I opted for premium processing, and on August 2, I received an RFE addressing criteria 2, 5, and 6. I have since added additional evidence to address criteria 4.
I have completed my medical exams, and my I-485, I-131, and I-765 forms are ready for submission. However, I have a few questions:
1. Since EB-1 is current, can I submit my RFE response and my Adjustment of Status application at the same time, or should I wait for my I-140 approval?
2. I was informed that if my I-140 is denied, I will not receive a refund for my Adjustment of Status, EAD, or Parole fees.
3. My husband has been out of work for two years. What options do we have in this situation?
I would appreciate any advice, as I am feeling quite overwhelmed.
Interview Prep
hey guys just wondering if anyone knows what actually happens when you go for your interview. Ours is in Djibouti and I hear so many getting administrative processing so it’s scaring me… are the interviews usually long or do they just ask basic questions of how you know each other and about your family ? #djibouti #yemen #interview #DQJuly
