Question on I-765
Has anyone ever filed for I-485 only and then filed for I-765 separately few weeks after? Did that make both processes go faster? Cuz I’m reading instances on Uscis website too where they are saying yes most people file those together, but you can also file them separately
I’m thinking filing them separately will help especially I-765 be approved faster since it will be handled by a different office/officer and not sitting in the same pile as the combined I-485s that may not be looked at soon - any thoughts are appreciated

Quick question please - if someone has an approved EB1 I-140 and submits a I-485 before Oct. 1st (upcoming fiscal year) - Is it possible to get your reciept notice of submission (I-797C) in the mail before Oct. 1st?
or are they holding on giving confirmation receipts too till the next available fiscal year? anyone that has gotten a receipt notice of I-797C for Adjustment of Status this month (September 2024) please let us know - thanks
I am asking because one may need to use the I-797C receipt confirmation for other benefits or applications

I missed my first biometrics on June 20, 2024. My lawyer said that they have requested for reschedule in July 2024. How long does it takes to reschedule the biometrics date?

My I-485 file was transferred to “Sacramento “ field office ( not the same state/ city I live in) on 09/10/2024. Is there anyone here same like me , transferred to Sacramento fo,?if so, please let me know how long it took to approve/ produce green card ?
