WAITING FOR INTERVIEW IN BRAZIL
A month after my lawyer sent a public inquiry to the NVC, they qualified all documents, and now we’re waiting for the interview date. How long is it taking to schedule an interview in Rio? My category is IB‑2.
Also, my lawyer only sent the inquiry because I threatened to do it myself. Don’t just accept everything your lawyer tells you. If the NVC requests documents, make sure you send them even if your lawyer thinks they’re unnecessary.
Please learn from my mistakes!

no update after interview, nervous
so my husband and I had our interview August 11th at the federal plaza New York… we had a lease, and our joint credit card and affidavit letters along with pictures, we are not rich so we don’t go out a lot… we had no lawyer. my husband got nervous and forgot the month we have been married and how long we dated… he also forgot my degree….. the lady was a bit aggressive and went in on him because he was messing up a bit… it lasted for 20 minutes and at the end she gave a white paper….saying they will mail a decision… I am a wreck and I don’t know what’s next, I can barely eat or sleep , just waiting…..and being on social media makes it worse as people say it will be removal proceedings…any advice?

My advance parole document will be expire March 2030. I traveled to my country August 9th to 24th 2025, On returning cbp stamped my advance parole the day I came back which is August 24th 2025 until August 22 2026. Is my advance parole still valid after August 2026? Can I travel again this coming December 2025?

Hi people, about 8 months after receiving my medicals and about 3 months after receiving my daughter’s medical, I have been scheduled for interview.
should I be happy, worried, concerned or anxious? I don’t know how to feel. please if you attended an interview of this nature can you let me know what it entails and what to expect. should I go with an attorney or alone. finally the letter didn’t mention that I appear with my daughter who is a beneficiary, should I go without her? I need your advice.
