pd Mar 21 FO- Boston medical RFE sent in Jun/25 last update- interview was scheduled RFE POs interview asking about bank statements, W2, taxes, employment letter, if I received any benefits for the government. (public charge RFE). for my husband asking a lot of things about school. Yes we received one RFE for each. We answered in May/15, no answer after that.

@B martins what about bank statements? for all years in USA?

@B martins I have some questions to ask you ? what is your eb catagory ? are you main application or dependent? are you on f1 status or other status ? why FO asked you for bank statement? do you have kids ? why FO asked about your husband school ? could you please answer me for these question and also share you interview in detail please . it will be more helpful for others to understand . Thank you

pd Dec 2021 as per Emma LA Field office medical expired (submitted march 2023) no updates no interview

@Swera MD eb3 unskilled. I’m the main applicant, pending status, before I was F2, my husband F1. I think they are investigating if I am a risk to be a public charge. We have kids. Because at the interview he couldn’t remember the name of their professors…yes, unbelievable!! My interview, was long, they interviewed me, and my husband separately. She asked a few questions about my employer, traced the timeline from b2(my first status) until now. I had two jobs at the time, she asked if I had something to proof that I work there, I hadn’t, asked the address. I had a baby with my public insurance, she asked when I did this insurance. I also switched sponsors, my first sponsor was in Missouri, my current sponsor is here in Massachusetts. she asked who filled the sup-J. I filled together with my sponsor. She didn’t question a lot about that. She asked why I didn’t bring a lawyer, when was the last time I talked with my lawyer, his name. She also interviewed, my 15 old daughter, asked about school, what she is studying at college(she is doing both at the same time), if she traveled alone before. Big interview!! that’s it!! We are waiting now!!

@B martins So what did you end up submitting? Why did they need your old bank statements? Was it because of the public charge requirement?

@robin ganzalez I submitted the statements that I had. same with taxes. I didn’t filed when I was a student. My lawyer answered the RFE.
