Timeline following the Green Card interview
Hi Lawfully community,
I have a question about the timeline after an I-485 interview.
After about 15 months of waiting for my green card case, I decided to file a writ of mandamus due to a family emergency situation. After that, USCIS scheduled my interview.
The interview went very smoothly and quickly. It took about 20 minutes for my three dependents and about 20 minutes for me as the principal applicant. At the end of the interview, the officer said that he would process the case as quickly as possible and issue a decision ASAP.
After the interview, my status changed to: “Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed.”
Has anyone had a similar experience? How long did it take to receive a decision after this status update?

i just got notified my i360 approved online. but still waiting for mail. pd nov 4,2025. my question is when i will get notice in mail is that DA also come together or i have to apply for DA

need help
can somebody please give me suggestion,
i filled my vawa in 2023 and got my work authorization and advance parole in 2024,
and application is still pending,
now i have a us citizen girlfriend whom i want to marry to settle down,
i know i have to file divorce for my vawa thing,
but can somebody give me suggestion that how this whole process gonna work please 🙏🏻
Finally there is a Change.
I’ve been for this to change!! I hope that I will see my case terminated. I do not know what this RFE is about. I guess I will be the medical, because I submitted my case in 2022, before the new rule.
