need help
can somebody please give me suggestion,
i filled my vawa in 2023 and got my work authorization and advance parole in 2024,
and application is still pending,
now i have a us citizen girlfriend whom i want to marry to settle down,
i know i have to file divorce for my vawa thing,
but can somebody give me suggestion that how this whole process gonna work please 🙏🏻

you need to calm down you was already abuse wait for your casse to be approve and you can have your freedom girls in this country are like a google Navigation when they have a network they can show you the best way but when they loose network you have to be prepared to be in the same situation abuse emotionally or physically again so everything except canceling your case and remarry another

Things may look rosy now but the question is what if... things go south? people can change toward you if they know that your existence and freedom depends on them. Don't make the same mistake twice. yes, remarrying while your case is pending will cancel but be conscious of your safety or abuse-related habits. sometimes, we feel rushed to move on to the next person after a bad situation but take the time to really gather your thoughts and think about YOUR future moving forward. best of luck !

Stay with vawa and don't remarry until is over. My lawyer gave me this same advise. We'll, he actually prohibited me from doing so.

just keep this in mind, most of us got married with good intentions and green card kind of ruined the marriage. It will make you and her feel unsecured unfortunately since her friends might get in to her head and tell her you got married bc of the card etc. we all had this before. just commenting bc of you brought this here, I would not do such a thing. get your card, then get married and don’t rely on anyone else again. It’s better for the marriage. but keep this in mind too, you have at least 12-16 months to get approved and then another year to get the gc.
